As my 15th year of being Culpwrit winds down, I enjoyed spending some time this weekend re-reading each and every post – especially those of guest contributors who generously took the time to share their advice with students and aspiring PR pros.
I was not surprised that many of the “guest columnists” wrote some of the top read, shared and liked posts of 2023.
Here are this year’s Top 10 posts:
- Chicago is No Second City When it Comes to PR
- Still Not Done Fighting Ageism in the Workplace
- Pitching to Actual Client Creates Best Real-World College Experience
- Resolved to Write Better
- Beginners Guide to Getting a Job When You Have Limited Experience
- What Matters in an Interview
- Lessons from Leaders I Admire
- New Year, New Me, New Resume
- No Bull Everyone Can be a Better Writer
- Navigating PR as a Student and Future Professional
Special thanks to the pros, students and educators who support this blog by being regular readers and great guest contributors. As I said in last year’s Top 10 recap, that moment in 2008 when my Ketchum interns talked me into starting a blog was life-changing and hopefully has helped students and young pros pursuing careers in this great profession.
Wishing you the happiest of holidays and good cheer as we begin a new year.
