It’s no secret that the late Betsy Plank was, and is, a public relations legend. Dedicating 63 years to the public relations profession, Betsy was an advocate for PR education and understood the importance of leadership, mentorship and ethics.
The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations has seen an outpouring of interest and support around its annual Betsy Plank Day. So much that it has turned into an unintentional month-long celebration. This year, the Center decided to take the celebration a step farther by launching 30 Days of Betsy, which celebrates Betsy Plank throughout the month of April.
During 30 Days of Betsy, the Center is sharing Betsy’s wisdom, personality and perspective. Pairing fun facts about her life and career with some of her most famous quotes, 30Days of Betsy highlights Betsy’s legacy and impact on the industry still resonates today.
