The importance and rewards of mentorship were underscored last night at the sold-out annual dinner of The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations in Chicago.
Six great mentors in the field of communications received Milestones in Mentoring Awards, which recognizes those who lead by example in helping others succeed. Honorees were introduced by individuals who they personally mentored over the years. The introductions were personal and powerful, demonstrating the impact mentors have on those who they help.
