Q. I’ve enjoyed reading some of your recent posts about social media and recently began reading the PR 2.0 blog you mentioned. I am wondering if there are any books about social media that you would recommend to public relations professionals? Or is it best to stick to reading blogs about the topic and research best practices? -CT
A. Readers may have other suggestions they can share through Comments, but I asked Jonathan Kopp, Global Director of Ketchum Digital, who said socialmediatoday.com is an invaluable resource. Also, he recommends “an oldie by digital standards that’s still relevant today”–Dave Schenk’s, Data Smog. He also likes Charlene Li’s book, Groundswelland Clay Shirky’s Here Comes Everybody.
